Daniel holds dual undergraduate degrees from Yeshiva University in Sociology and Judaic Studies. He earned his Masters of Science at Georgetown University in Biophysics and Physiology while concentrating in Complementary and Alternative Medicine. He also earned his medical doctorate and Masters of Public Health through a dual-degree program at Nova Southeastern University. He is currently a resident anesthesiologist in Rochester, NY.
Daniel’s dedication and passion for cancer advocacy and being a prominent member of the cancer support community comes from his personal experience with cancer. At only eleven years old, Daniel was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and was placed on an intensive chemotherapy protocol until the age of fourteen, when only then he began experiencing normal teenage life.
Daniel serves as a member of the Kids Kicking Cancer Board of Directors and was previously the Chairman of the Teen Cancer America Young People’s Advisory Committee.
